Anyone can define for me the word "regret" ??

Regret means :

1. to feel sorrow or remorse for an act.
2.to think of with the sense of loss.
3.a sense of disappointment, dissatisfaction.

Regret has the broadest range, from mere disappointment to a painful sense of dissatisfaction or self-reproach, as over something that you loss.

I've make a decision in my life that will take "time" for me to [insyallah] achieve my goal. And yes, i know the consequences and the risk i will surely face in the future. but the one thing i fear the most when time goes by is just one "feeling" & it is "regret". The feeling of regret, isit an act of the devil itself?? To twist our minds to do things that is not right and unlawful? Some says regret is a paralysis[feeling of loss] created by the devil itself.and the feeling of regret will be more complicated and hurtful when you link it with someone special in your life. No matter how much that someone means to me, i know i cant act by just listening to my heart. i did that before with my first love, and it didn't last.and she was right, we shouldnt have gone soo far.dear Almighty, kuat kan lah imanku..........amin.
